New Motherhood is a vulnerable time in a woman’s life.

While it can be joyful, it can also be overwhelming and anxiety-producing. There are many issues that cause stress during the transition to motherhood, such as: adjusting to your new role as mother and identity shifts, relationship challenges, physical/medical challenges, body image, sleep deprivation and baby’s feeding struggles, work/life decisions and more…. Some women struggle with postpartum mood disorders such as depression, anxiety and/or Obsessive-Compulsive disorder.

Treatment is very effective and women diagnosed with Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) who receive treatment can get better and go on to care for their families… and themselves. You deserve to feel well again and to enjoy motherhood! Click below to reach out to see how I can help you.
